Mademe Palm was first born out of an idea of Viviane, Milan based French & Italian designer with her thesis project in product design called “Ménage à Quatre” in 2013. She wanted to design a sex toy for female self-pleasure.

When starting her research on masturbation, it had been understood that the practice was still considered as a taboo subject in most cultures. The common belief is that the vaginal orgasm is the ultimate orgasm and the majority of sex toy is phallus-shaped. The goal was to develop a delicate product for female self-pleasure to suggests masturbation as a natural and healthy practice while paying tribute to the clitoris, the only organ in a woman's body with the sole function of providing pleasure and therefore, the ultimate orgasm.

It featured a first round of prototypes of sex-jewlery rings focused on the stimulation of the clitoris and other pleasurable areas.

Ten years later, the designer with her amazing team created Madame Palm: a patented and genderless collection of fine sex rings designed to celebrate self-love.
